More About Me

I have very much treasured my service as a Boise School Trustee because I have always been a big fan of Boise Schools. I am a product of the Boise School District, being a proud alum of Hawthorne Elementary, East Junior High School and Boise High School.

After attending Boise High, I went on to graduate with Honors in Political Science from the University of Denver. I later received my J.D. from the University of Idaho College of Law. Professionally, I have been practicing law for over 25 years. In 2008, I served as one of the youngest presidents in the history of the Idaho State Bar. My law practice focus involves natural resources, real estate and business law. I have also been active in several community non-profit groups and am currently Vice Chair of the Board for Jesse Tree of Idaho and also serve as Board Member for Boise Elevated, a nonprofit "think tank" dedicated to the advancement of the city of Boise through business and community involvement.

Finally, I am blessed to be married to Gretchen Christie of Troy, Idaho. We have two awesome children. Audrey just finished her freshman year at University of Idaho and Greta will be a senior this fall at Boise High.
