Demonstrated Trustee Leadership

LEADER. I am honored to ask for your vote to be retained to serve the remaining 4-years of my Trustee position term and feel blessed that I have an opportunity to help our children through this critical role. I feel strongly that I have earned this privilege through my demonstrated leadership and hard work in serving on the Board. For example, in serving as a Trustee I am proud to have accomplished the following:

  • Board Advocate for the proposal and adoption of Board Student Advisory Committee (included 7-month collaborative process which focused on incorporating components found in highly successful SACs throughout the country in order to create an authentic student voice from all 5 Boise School District High Schools)
  • 100% attendance School Board and Committee Meetings
  • 100% attendance for Workshop Meetings
  • Schools Outreach I personally visited and toured numerous schools. This was a great opportunity to thank teachers and staff for their great work and dedication to students (Elementary: Adams, Amity, Grace Jordan, Hawthorne, Jefferson, Longellow, Lowel, Maple Grove, Monroe, Morley Nelson, Mountain View, Owyhee, Pierce Park, Riverside, Roosevelt, Shadow Hills, Taft, Trail Wind, Valley View, Washington and Whittier. Junior High: East, Fairmont, Les Bois, North, Riverglen and West. High School: Boise, Borah, Capital, Dennis Technical Center, Frank Church and Timberline,)
  • Participating Member, Boise School District Sustainability Committee ($1.5 M savings to District)

  • 100% attendance participation at 2022 High School Graduations (Boise, Boise Online, Capital, Frank Church and Timberline)
